I have played Jazz guitar since 1990 and performed in the U.S., China, and South Africa. I was the guitarist with the 18 piece Black Tie Affair Orchestra, performing at the Boston Arts Festival and the Kennedy Library. In 1999, I moved to Washington, D.C. and had the luck to serve as a sideman for former Chess Records session musician Jimmy Burell and Freddie Hubbard sideman Billy Smith. In 2001, I started my own group, the Lincoln Park Trio, that was featured regularly at the legendary Bohemian Caverns club where Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday once performed. From 2003-2004, I led the Jazz Ambassadors sextet in Guangzhou (Canton), China, performing the work of Bebop masters in local clubs, Chinese TV and radio, and the "West Meets East" festival. During the last two years, I've been the lead guitarist for the South African Jazz Ensamble (SAJE). In addition to playing at local clubs and private events in Pretoria and Johannesburg, SAJE was the Jazz band selected to perform in the annual "Concerts in the Park" series. Since returning to Washington, I have been performing at venues like the Ellington's on 8th, Johnny's Half Shell, Columbia Station, and Stars Bistro
